New Possibilities will, provide two consultants to; lead a process of gathering information. This process will establish what is important to individuals about the services they receive. Person centred approaches and techniques will be used.

The atmosphere created will put people at their ease and successfully engage people from the minute they enter a room to the minute they leave.

Key representatives from the commissioning body will be invited to be present and provide necessary information that will enable people to engage in the consultation process.

The process will be facilitated in a structured way that will enable meaningful dialogue to take place between the relevant parties.

Consultation can happen on either an individual basis, involving people who are trusted by the person or on a group basis of up to 40 people

Using graphic facilitation techniques people will feel that they have been listened to and will be able to see their contributions being recorded live.

This information can then be used to compile a report that identifies any gaps or possible shortfalls in current service provision.
